At STEMM we believe fathering matters

STEMM has initiated a dad’s support program for the fathers (or the mother's partner) of STEMM children to attend. We welcome other committed dads aged up to 25, who are seeking to meet other men in the same situation and improve on their parenting and/or relationships. We also offer individual or group sessions.  

Topics have included:

• Fathering & how we were fathered
• Surviving the financial stresses of parenthood
• Partner team work & negotiating relationships
• Living with depression & men’s health issues
• whatever you want to discuss or need support with

Previous activities have included:

• Family B-B-Qs to meet other dads and their families
• a Dad's Support Group at the Shack @ 19 Price St, Nambour (near Railway Station) on a week night from about 6pm to 7.30pm. (Cost: Gold Coin donation for Light Meal.)
